Visit to Royal Swingers

We were warmly welcomed last night at the Royal Swingers and had a great time.  We had the fun surprise of replacement caller Brent Mawdsley and cuer Cheryl Plume.  Thanks to the Royal Swingers for their hospitality, and this photo.

Reminder to Chuckouts and visitors - DARK on Thursday, visit to Royal Swingers on Friday

Brent is at a conference all week so there is no dancing Thursday, January 28.



We are visiting the Royal Swingers on Friday the 29th. If you'd like, please wear denim blue and black, with optional red accents like a bandana or a belt.

Burns Night reminder

We will be celebrating Burns Night on Thursday, January 21st.

We had a fine time. Address to the burger, lots of nice treats, tasteful decorations, and Brent in fine form.

Remember we are dark next week. See you in February.

Proposed Visits

I looked into what dances are available the weeks we are dark.

How about visiting the Royal Swingers on Friday, January 29.  Our temporary club colours are black tops and denim blue bottoms with (optional) red accents like a bandana or belt.  Darlene suggested burgundy and white as the long term colour scheme.

Maple Ridge is having a Sweeheart Ball for Plus dancers on Monday, February 15.  I think we'd wear red if we went to that.

We could visit the Swinging Singles or Surrey Square Wheelers on Tuesday, March 8.

We can talk about it Thursday.
