We dance Plus most Thursdays since January 2016, and will be at our NEW LOCATION Alan Emmott Centre, 6650 Southoaks Crescent, Burnaby starting January 25, 2024. 2018 Halloween Dance
We had 4 squares and a great time at Thursday's Halloween Dance. Brent called a spook-tacular dance! Dave and Jenny did a phantom-astic job of decorations. Maryanne's refreshments were spine-chillingly artistic!

Fidalgo Fogcutters Visit October 11
We were delighted to welcome the Fidalgo Fogcutters of Burlington WA to our dance last night. We plan a return visit to their Prawn Dance next Friday. Here is a photo of Gailyn accepting a banner from Joe, while guest caller John Corrigan looks on. The lower photo is of the whole group.

Ahoy, Mateys!
Brent shivered our timbers with his excellent calling at our Talk Like A Pirate Day dance last Thursday. At times we were "at sea" and a plank to walk might have been tempting! We awarded the first of our beautiful visitor banners, made by Narda, to Town 'N' Country Swingers.

Circle 8 Ranch
Seven Brent's Bunch couples attended Brent Mawdsley & Scott Coon's weekend at Circle 8 Ranch in Cle Elum WA this past weekend. Here is a photo of the happy bunch under the new club sign posted at the hall.
As you can see by the photos (select slideshow under More Options at top right of the screen), we had a wonderful time! Thanks to Maryanne, Steve of Bonney Lads 'n' Lassies and me for providing the photos.
Ron and Bel placed second in the Bocce Tournament. Therese and Scott teamed up to take first prize in the potato chip identification contest.

Hi Everybody,
I hope you all having a great summer. We look forward to seeing many of you at the Abbotsford Summer Dance, Sun Aug 19, and / or at
Circle 8 Ranch, Aug 24-26. I also hope you are all looking forward to getting back to regular dancing in the fall
as I am.
Brent’s Bunch will start dancing again on Thursday,
September 13, at the Burnaby Lake Pavilion from 7:30 – 9:45pm.
We have 11 nights of dancing in the fall of 2018 as shown in
the schedule.
Of course visitors are always welcome. The visitor fee is $7.50 per person per night
to be put in the jar, so please bring exact change.
