Brent’s Bunch Dance April 30, Celebrating Brent’s 60th Birthday

 Come and Join us for our last dance of the season and celebrate Brent's 60th Birthday. We will have Brent and guest callers, and Erica Corsi cueing. If you are not dancing, we would love to have you come and join us for an evening of visits and always amazing food. Our parking is at a premium so if you are able to carpool or park on the streets in front or behind the hall that would be great. We understand for some you need to park in the lot and that’s ok. Parking on Beresford: from the east turn left (south) on Griffiths Drive then right on Beresford. Park behind the back of the hall on the right. Reminder: Brent's Bunch is DARK this week

Therese has asked me to remind you that Brent is away, so Brent's Bunch will not be holding a dance this week.  We will dance next week, April 23, and wind up with our Sixties Dance to celebrate Brent turning 60 on April 30.

Chuck and I, your Wagonmasters, encourage you to visit one of the many other area clubs dancing this week.  The FVSRDA website "Where to Dance" page lists all the clubs, with day of the week, time, dance level and location.  We hope you can find something that works for you!  We ourselves will be visiting the Stampede Whirlaways in Williams Lake.

Brent's Bunch cancelled Thursday March 26 due to Hall cancellation

Hi everyone, 

Hope that you are enjoying Spring weather today and more days to come.  We missed a few of you on Thursday but know that the weather and road construction has caused some issues.  We had a nice evening with some visitors, thank you Daphne for the treats and Shelley Brown for her yummy sweets. 

Unfortunately, we were contacted by Burnaby Parks that Thursday, March 26, is cancelled due a conflict with another rental for the same day.  They are filming at the centre and are running behind already so they need to extend their time.

So no dancing this coming Thursday. If you had purchased a package, I can give refunds or credits which ever you would prefer. 

Brent and I will be going dancing at Abbotsford Grand Squares to dance to Bryan Clark instead on March 26.  They dance at the ASAA Hall,  33889 Essendene Avenue, Abbotsford, from 7:00 to 9:00.  Please come and join us if you would like, it should be lots of fun. 

Royal City Dancers are also dancing on Friday,  March 27 7:30 -9:30 at Edmonds Community Centre,  7433 Edmonds Street for some more fun and dance time.  

Its hard to believe we are almost to April which is our last month of dancing before summer.  Some of you might know but for those that don', this will be Brents 60th Birthday on May 11 so I thought we could celebrate him on April 30.  I have made a flyer that I was hoping I can get some help with inviting others to it.  I was hoping to have some volunteers for some food and some door prizes. Please let me know if you can help. I have attached the flyer. I will also change the times of the hall so we can dance longer and socialize as well. 

Next Brent's Bunch will be on April 2.

Lots of Valentine’s Love!

We had a wonderful dance Thursday, with Brent's heart-meltingly beautiful singing of love songs.

We celebrated 80th birthdays of Don and Marguerite, who have both contributed so much to square dancing.

We took the opportunity to present our very own living legend Chuck Jordan with his age 90 badge; a milestone we celebrated with him last October.

Brent's Bunch with Love Songs & Cake on Thursday Feb 12
