We had a Happy Easter at Brent's Bunch last night, and here are the photos to prove it!

Thanks to John and Mary Corrigan for giving us a fun evening!

Guest Caller for Easter at Brent’s Bunch

Hi - a reminder that this Thursday is our Easter Dance at Brent's Bunch. We are pleased to announce that John Corrigan will be calling, as Brent is away on business.

Club members, please consider donating a door prize to add to the fun.

Hope to see you there!

Daphne

Reminder: Brent's Bunch is DARK this Thursday, March 23

On Thursday, March 23, the Burnaby Lake Pavilion is not available so Brent's Bunch will be dark, but we are going to make a club visit to the Abbotsford Grand Squares to enjoy dancing Plus with Steve Edlund from 7 – 9pm at the ASAA Hall, 33889 Essendene Avenue, Abbotsford.

Chuck and I would be glad to give two people a ride.  If you need or are willing to offer a ride, please let me know asap.  Thanks!

Daphne

Walter Witt

As many of you know, Walter Witt passed away last Saturday from lung cancer.

His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 22.  Here is a link to his obituary with details:

Walter was a founding member of Brent's Bunch, and even after he was no longer able to dance, he accompanied Ilona to the dances and was a terrific salesman of 50/50 tickets.

If you missed signing the card at last night's dance and wish to send your own, Ilona's address is:

Very Sad News - Walter Witt

Ilona and Walter in 2019

I'm very sorry to let you know that Walter Witt passed away about an hour ago.  He had been suffering greatly the last few days.  He did get time with all his kids.  He was going to turn 89 soon, which was why I happened to call Ilona today.

There will be a service in April sometime and I will provide details once available.

We will bring a card to the dance Thursday for all to sign. If you'd like to send your own card to Ilona, here is her address:

Brent’s Bunch is DARK March 9

A reminder we are DARK this coming Thursday, March 9.

We do not have a visitation planned, but encourage you to dance at another club in the area.  Abbotsford Grand Square dance Thursday night, and Royal Swingers dance this Friday night.

We hope to see you next Thursday, March 16 at our St. Patrick's Dance.  We can probably twist Brent's arm to sing Oh Danny Boy, always a highlight.  If you are on the injured list, we would love to see you for a visit!
