Brents Bunch DARK this week. Updates and Thank you's

Hi everyone, 

Thank you all for the support at the Robbie Burns Night. The decorations, costumes, food, door prizes,  and all-around help is so appreciated.

Special thanks to Chuck and Daphne for all the help with organizing the Stardowners' visit, food, decorations, door prizes, and set up, and Bruce for your toast to the Haggis. 

We are dark this week and will return to dancing with Bryan Clark on Feb. 6. 

It was wonderful having Stardowners out to our dance we are hopeful that we can return the visit to them at the Trifle Night on April 3 as we are dark that night to go and visit them.  They dance at Queens Park in New Westminster in a beautiful hall.  I will be sending out an email as it gets closer so we can let them know how many of us can make it.

Brent called a vibrant Burns Night dance last night, and 4 squares of us danced to Scottish tunes and a few that made their way under the Burns umbrella.  Thanks very much to the Stardowners for their club visit, our other visitors and our club members who made so many contributions to the festivity.

Robbie Burns Dance Jan. 23

Hi everyone, 

We are excited to announce that we will be having a Robbie Burns Dance on Jan 23, 2025, from 7:30 to 9:30.

Stardownwers are coming for a visit, so we decided to have a party night. We will enjoy a little food and Robbie Burns's sayings during the night.

If you have decorations that you would like to add please let me know.  

I also have had a few dancers offer door prizes as well as food.  Please email me and let me know if you were one of the offers and what you would like to bring.   

We will have other opportunities for food in the future so no worries if you don't bring food this time we will catch you next time.
